Mapping and the American Identity

Is America losing it’s identity with the expansions of multi-national conglomerates such as Wall-Mart or is Wal-Mart becoming part of the American identity.

The majority of American know about Wal-Mart. There is 3400 Wal-Mart in the US. People associate many things with Wal-Mart. Some people love it and do all there shopping there, other people refuse to even go in to a Wal-Mart. Either way Wal-Mart has an impact and has is a huge part of America.
